Remember to save the date for the next Newtown Creek Community Advisory Group meeting on Wednesday, June 7. The exact location is TBD, but will be in Brooklyn this month. We anticipate hosting the meeting in East Williamsburg or Bushwick and will post the location soon. The meeting will run from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
There will be an update about the Newtown Creek Community Visioning Project from Riverkeeper and an update about the City’s Combined Sewer Overflow Long-Term Control Plan (LTCP). There will also be short updates from EPA, Newtown Creek Group, and NYC Department of Environmental Protection.
We encourage attendance from the general public and any who are interested in becoming active CAG members.
